Our youth ministry partners with youth to belong and grow in faith and community. We are accepting – we invite, welcome, and embrace all youth; committed – we are dedicated to Christ and our community; enthusiastic – we are passionate and energetic; and authentic – we are genuine about our strengths and weaknesses.
How do I connect with Roots Youth Ministry?
ROOTS MEAL DONATIONS
We’re always looking for people to partner with us to supply food for Roots dinners. You can get together with a few friends and do a meal as a group, or you can donate money or food we can store in the kitchen — such as pasta, peanut butter, etc. Contact Beth Stillabower (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get plugged in.
The time and energy volunteers give to the youth makes way more of an impact than anything else. It’s not very often that teenagers can connect with a caring adult who is interested in their lives on a personal level. Serving behind-the-scenes fosters those relationships between teenagers and an adult mentor. It also frees up the church staff to train people up, spend time with parents, and do all the administrative work required for the ministry to function.
If you’re interested in serving, please fill out this form. This is simply to gain more information; there’s no commitment involved. You can find a list of potential ways you can serve here. At the end of the day, we want to match you up in an area that best fits your gifts and strengths.

APPALACHIA MISSION TRIP
June 7-11, Grades 6+ (19-20 school year), $500
The mountains are calling, so we're going. Join us as we partner with Praying Pelican Missions to serve alongside a local church in Eastern Kentucky. We'll learn about the culture in that specific region, the needs of the people who live there, and what churches are doing to meet those needs. The goal is to learn, build relationships, develop bonds within our own group, and to leave inspired to serve others in Franklin. Tap here to sign up!
