FRIENDS & FAMILY CPR CLASS
Sunday, Apr 27, 10a-11a, Price Hall (West Side)
Wednesday, Apr 30, 1p-2p, Price Hall (West Side)
According to the American Heart Association, immediate CPR can double or triple a person's chances of survival after cardiac arrest.
The Senior Ministry team is pleased to offer two Friends & Family CPR classes, one on Sunday, April 27 from 10a-11a and the other on Wednesday, April 30 from 1p-2p in Price Hall (West Side). This is the most basic class and there will not be a certification card available, however, the participants will leave with enough knowledge to be of immediate assistance to a stricken person until a professional arrives e.g. call 911.
Due to time limitations, those taking the class must be available on time to start/complete the session and also sign up in the lobby. Wearing comfortable clothing is suggested.

VBS 2025 - REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!
June 16-19, 9a-11:30a
Pull out your calendar and then use a highlighter to mark Monday, June 16th through Thursday, June 19th. That way, you'll be sure to save the date for Vacation Bible School 2025! That’s right, it's not a typo. We are already looking ahead to June 2025. Grace is blessed to have a talented and creative group of individuals who have partnered together to plan, and develop the program for next summer. Creatively using a water theme to tie it all together, each day will find students looking at a different Bible scene, as viewed from "The Lighthouse". Beginning with Jonah and the whale, turning to Jesus' baptism, watching Peter walk on water, and witnessing Jesus calm a storm; children will experience the power of the Spirit and the presence of God as they are invited to share the love of Christ with the world. Visit www.myvbs.org/graceumc2025 to register your child(ren) or to volunteer!

SUMMER CAMP IS COMING!!!!
June 16-19, 2025
Pastor Joe and Lauren Sanford are directing a summer camp at Camp Mone’to in Brown County June 15-20. This camp will be for 4th-6th grade campers (students currently in 3rd-5th grade). Camping is an incredible opportunity for students to grow in their faith and self understanding. We are excited to start building on the love of camp already present at Grace UMC with some big goals of making camp a major part of what we do for our community of students of all ages.
If you know of ANY students currently in 3rd-5th grade who would like to spend a week in the woods alongside of dozens of peers playing games, swimming, hiking, worshiping, and exploring faith in the woods, let them know about this camp opportunity. Go to https://impact2818.org/event/impact-camp-camp-moneto/ to learn more and sign up. Early bird pricing is available until April 20th.
How wonderful would it be if we could send EVERY student to camp for free?! What would it do for our community and neighboring families to offer their kids an entire week at camp to grow closer to Jesus? You can help make that happen by offering a gift to our "Conference Camping Scholarship Fund.” We want to ensure that nothing stands in the way for students to go to camp; please consider contributing. If you are interested to help support the camp in other ways like volunteering, praying, and/or preparing materials ahead of time, please contact Pastor Joe.
We are SO EXCITED to bring conference camping back to Camp Mone’to after almost a dozen years. We are even MORE excited for Grace UMC to be the place that is going to help make that happen.
