Our Vision
We are a congregation composed of persons from all over Johnson County and Franklin, who come from a wide-variety of backgrounds and histories, with an exciting history and tradition in the community.
We believe as a congregation God is calling us to reach out and serve the people of this community and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ, caring and growing together in faith.
We are a congregation that expresses the gospel as a personal, social, and missional encounter with Jesus, understood within the Wesleyan/Methodist tradition which we believe is:

We are a congregation that expresses the gospel as a personal, social, and missional encounter with Jesus, understood within the Wesleyan/Methodist tradition which we believe is:
- Biblically Rooted – encouraging growth in terms of Bible Study, worship, and prayer and reflecting on how the Scriptures speak to us today, especially through small groups and worship
- Christ-Centered – focusing on Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, Christ’s teaching, ministry, example, and Way as the path that leads to life with God
- Spirit/Worship Directed – worshiping God in ways that enrich our lives at all stages of life and celebrating God’s great love in Christ for all
- Missionally-Minded – looking always to make a positive impact in the community and around the world, doing hands-on ministry and giving generously
- Connectionally Committed – sharing in the work of Christ through the United Methodist Church, helping God’s people to become disciples and being a leader throughout the UM connection
- Warm-Hearted – living in joyful response to God’s grace, loving, laughing, and caring as we welcome others into service
