The Committee on Church & Society at Grace Chcurch promotes and sponsors various programs throughout the year.  Persons can respond and participate in the following:

Praying for Peace

The Committee on Church & Society invites all persons in the church to pray for peace at noon every day.

Human Relations Day/M.L. King Remembrance

The third Sunday in January promotes the legacy of Dr. King in the life of the church and community.

Black History Month

Gives thanks for the contributions of African Americans to American life and culture, typically in February.

Franklin College-Grace Partnership

Monthly forum to encourage dialogue between students, faculty, and members of Grace Church in a wide-variety of areas of interest regarding church and society.

Peace with Justice Sunday

One Sunday in May dedicated to raising awareness in the life of the church on how Christians are to engage in acts of justice and peace in a world of violence and strife.

United Methodist Social Principles and Methodist Social Creed

Documents which assist United Methodists in critical dialogue on issues facing the church.
