What would you consider to be a "priceless" moment in your life?  What do you believe is “priceless” about the ministry of Grace Church?  Who is the person (or the persons) who has been “priceless” to your faith-commitment to Christ?

As part of our efforts to celebrate the ministries at Grace Church we would like to invite you to answer the above questions.  We would like to hear from you and to gain insight as to what truly matters and how we can communicate those treasures of our faith, both personally and corporately, to others.

Here are some "priceless moments" and "priceless people" shared by folks from Grace Church.  Listen to what people in the community say about "priceless ministry".  More "priceless" thoughts from members of Grace UMC:

Salvation is priceless...
Life is priceless...
Children are priceless...
A trustworthy spouse is priceless...
A good name is priceless...

Parents and grandparents worthy of honor are priceless...
When my Study Buddy came last week and said excitedly, "I was at your house for 'Trick or Treat'"!
"Whatever the task," Grandfather said, "You can do it!"  Priceless!

We want to share the following story about the sacrifices persons have made in service to this country.  Thanks to Betsy Dalton for passing this on and to those who have served in the Armed Forces:

“One Sunday morning the pastor noticed little Alex standing in the foyer of the church starring up at a large plaque. It was covered with names and small flags. The six-year old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the pastor walked up and stood beside the child.  “Good morning, Alex,” the pastor said. “Good morning, Pastor,” Alex replied.  “Pastor, what is this?” The pastor replied, “That’s a memorial to those men and women who died in the service.” Soberly, they just stood there, staring at the large plaque.  Finally, Alex’s voice, barely audible and trembling with fear, asked:  “Which service, the 9:00 a.m. or the 11:00 a.m.?”

We pray we all will take a moment to realize how God has blessed us and how we, in turn, can be a blessing to others; we pray we all will take a moment and share our blessings as we fill out the Pledge Card and return it to Grace Church on Commitment Weekend, November 19th and 20th. At this time, we will celebrate with "Priceless Gratitude" all that Christ has done for us.  Please remember to bring your Ministry Commitment Cards to worship.

Therefore, we invite each of you to prayerfully consider how God is calling you to undergird the ministries of Grace Church.  There are, to be sure, many "priceless" aspects of our life together.  We cannot measure tham all in human terms, but we can tell other what God has done!

Over the next few weeks, take a moment and share a priceless moment in your life: tell us what truly is priceless. All of us will benefit as a result as we communicate what really matters.  Please feel free to return written statements to the Church Office at grace@franklingrace.org, or to one of the pastors:  Pastor Andy at pastorandy@franklingrace.org or pastorjenothy@franklingrace.org.

May God bless our “priceless” ministry!
